Top 5 Questions

Q : What kind of service does GovCB provide?
GovCB(Government Contract and Bid) provides online Business-to-Government services. Using web technology, GovCB provides members with contracting information from US and Canadian government agencies. Members receive contracting information either through GovCB daily email report or by accessing GovCB website.
Q : What is the main benefit of using GovCB?
There are three main services GovCB provides: Opportunities, Email Report and Vendor Profile. First, Opportunities contain bid notices, RFQ, RFP, and contracting opportunities from all federal, state, local government agencies from the US and Canada. You can receive personalized bid notification emails or search them instantly on our website. Secondly, getting email notification of new bid opportunities that best match your product or service will save you a lot of time. This means that you don't have to waste your time looking for bid opportunities anymore. Finally, with GovCB's Vendor Profile, you can promote your company's products or services to prime contractors or other GovCB members easily and search other government vendors who are already selling to the government or are interested in government business. With GovCB, you will receive plenty of bids at your desktop everyday. Besides, with extra time available, you will be able to better prepare for bidding. Invest your time in selling, not searching. This will bring you more contracts won, in other words, more businesses and more profits.
Q : What agencies does GovCB cover? What are the sources of GovCB?
GovCB covers all federal government agencies. This means we have contracting information from NASA, Department of Energy, Department of Defense, and many more. As for state and local government agencies, GovCB covers more than 50,000 government agencies which make GovCB one of the largest B2G contracting information sources on the web. But, since there are so many local agencies that issue contracting information, it is possible that GovCB does not provide the information from the agency you are dealing with. In that case, please write to our customer support team. GovCB will add the source to its database and will provide the information through its email alert service and web service.
Q : Approximately how many government bids are available per day?
Usually, there are more than 3,000 new government bid opportunities available per day. Sometimes the number can go as high as 6,000 or as low as 1,500. But, usually more than 50,000 open bid opportunities are available at any given time.
Q : What kind of filtering options does GovCB have? Will I only receive the information that matches my products or services?
The people at GovCB understand that members prefer to receive one right piece of information than to receive a lot of information that is irrelevant to their business. That is why GovCB offers several filtering options that help members to receive only relevant contracting information. Members can set up keywords, FSC categories and target business areas.
